Room for the Recipes
Let's jump right in to all the
new features that the Improved Weekend Grillers offers.
The first thing you will notice
is that it is MUCH wider than the old site.
Since most internet users now
enjoy wide screens, we felt that it was time to expand. This
gives us much more room for the photos and for added
information.
One Click Prints Out
Any Page for Easy Reading
Glance up in the top Left
Corner of this page and you will see some Blue Words that tell
you that you can print this page. We have included this "One
Click" Printing Link on (almost) all of you favorite recipes
and techniques so that you can easily print them out and take
them to the kitchen or the patio. You may want to go ahead and
print a couple of extra ones, so you'll have them when people
ask for the recipe.
Three Brand New
Sections
As much as we would like to, we can't
live on BBQ along. So in the spirit of BBQ as a
party food, we have started three new party sections. The
links are on the Right Side of the Home page (but don't appear
on every page.)
They are also right here for your
convenience. Be sure to check them out.
This one takes a little bit of
explaining. We tell you all about it on the Home page of
this new section. But basically The Weekend Grillers have
come up with a Unique way for you and your guests to get more
enjoyment out of watching movies. Everybody love a Movie
Night.

happening on The Weekend Grillers.
The Weekend
Grillers Newsletter Sign-up form has been moved to the more
conspicuous Upper Right side. If you haven't signed up yet,
please do so that we can keep in touch with you and let you
know what is happening each week on The Weekend Grillers.
For those of you who enjoy your BBQ in
bite-sized, automatic pieces we now offer an RSS Feed. Look at the
very top of the Right Panel.
Don't try to
decide which is best -- Just sign-up for
BOTH!

Most of you will recognize the Social
Bookmarking box below. The Weekend Grillers have entered Web
2.0! Please feel free to Bookmark your favorite pages and share
The Weekend Grillers and your love of BBQ with the World.
(If you aren't yet familiar with Web 2.0
and Social Bookmarking - Don't worry. We plan to include a
tutorial in the near future to get everyone up to speed.
Meanwhile, you don't need it to enjoy The Weekend
Grillers.)
One of our biggest frustrations with the old
site was the inability to support blogging. From the very
beginning we have been about building a community -- and
nothing does that live like blogs and forums.
Note - We are still working
out the bugs on this one. The site is there but it doesn't yet
have all the pages.

The NEW Weekend Grillers is all about
community. So we have teamed up with Talk Back to put a comment box on
(almost) EVERY PAGE! We hope that the ease and convenience
will cause you to want to use them so that we can get
conversations going and build a REAL BBQ Community.
