Scottish Ale Steak Marinade

Scottish Ale Steak Marinade is a delicious and simple marinade and rub to try on your next T-Bone or Ribeye Steak.


Scottish Ale Steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle stout Scottish Ale
  • 2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Seasoned Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons ground Black Pepper
  • Butter

Directions:

  1. Place your favorite cut of steak in a shallow pan and pour ale on steak.
  2. Let marinate for 1 hour in refregerator or longer.
  3. Remove steak from ale.
  4. Mix dry ingredients together.
  5. Rub mixture on both sides of steak.
  6. Let marinate with dry ingredients for ½ hour or more.
  7. Preheat grill to med high heat. (Click Here for Jamie's Easy Method for Checking the Temperature of your Grill)
  8. Cook to desired doneness.
  9. Remove steak from grill, coat with butter and allow to "rest" for 5 minutes.
  10. Enjoy.

This Recipe will handle 1 ½ pounds of beef.

You can use a good beer in this recipe but it taste best with a good stout ale.



Weekend Griller Tip:

Always buy the best steak you can afford. Look for grain-fed beef with good marbling for the best taste.
