Spicy Lime Chicken Wings
Spicy Lime Chicken Wings are a refreshing change of pace from the traditional sweet or hot chicken wings for
your next Barbeque Party.
Serve these with a nice Creamy Salsa or dip -- Which you can find on our companion site
-- Party Dips and Salsa.
Nice how that works, ain't it? ;)
"Has to have da creamy dips."
Spicy Lime Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 Limes, peeled & chopped (see below)
- 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 20 large Chicken Wings,
- 2 teaspoons Salt
Directions:
- Combine the chopped lime, garlic, chili powder, paprika and sugar in a bowl or large
freezer bag.
- Add the wings and toss to coat.
- Place in refrigerator for 2 hours, tossing occasionally.
- Grill wings over medium hot coals (CLICK
HERE to see how to check the fire temp with just your hand) for 20-25 minutes,
turning every 5 minutes or so.
- Check by cutting to the bone that the meat is opaque.
- Salt to taste and serve.
Note on Limes - To get the chopped limes, remove all of the green peeling and white pith from
the "meat" then just chop. You may substitute 4 Tablespoons or more lime juice for the fresh limes but it won't be
as good.
