With barbecue season just around the corner it is always great to have a few helpful tips. Barbecues need to be fun, fancy, and simply irresistible for ever single person that attends.

When you host a barbecue it is very important to have a good menu, not just the plain old burgers and hot dogs. Make certain that you purchase good cuts of meat to have a good tasting meal. It would be a good idea to drop into your local butcher or maybe talk to the worker in the meat department of your local supermarket. You will need marinade, barbecue sauce, or seasoning blend, be sure that it something that you have used before so you know that you can trust it. Have some side dishes that you will offer with your barbecue, chips, baked beans, macaroni salad, grilled veggies, salad, just about anything will go. You guests may offer to bring along some food also.

You need the proper tools to have a good barbecue. If you have the right tools the chefs job will be a lot easier. Before you start up the grill you should be sure that you have everything that you need, to stop you from having to go back and fourth between kitchen and barbecue.

When you have barbecues you should have many drinks available because when there is a barbecue there usually hot weather and thirsty people. Lemonade, water, beer, soda, mixed drinks, are a few good drinks to offer. Your guest should offer to supply their own liquors or beer.

Try to have a laid back setting have your guest feel warm and welcome. Talk to your guests and be sure that you introduce anybody that doesn`t know everyone that is at the barbecue. After the barbecue clean up quickly, then take some time to mingle. When the evening is done be sure that you thank your guests for the good time and be sure to tell then you hope to do it again sometime.

It’s a hot summer day and you want to plan a party. What should you do? Really, there is only one thing that you can do. Throw a barbeque. But what should you serve, how should you serve it and what will you need for your guests? Find out in this article.

First of all, you should really plan farther ahead than just one day. Realistically, you should start by looking at the weather and making sure that it isn’t going to rain or snow or something. After that, invite the best, most fun-loving friends that you have. If you don’t have any friends, then this is the perfect way to make some.

After the invitations have been sent it is time to decide on things to eat. You can’t have a barbeque without some sort of food. I would recommend that you have a least a few different choices for people. Things like hot dogs and hamburgers are simple, cheap and effective. If you want to get a little fancier, there are always kabobs or possibly fondue that you could make. Whatever you choose, be sure that your grill is ready to go and that you have enough propane or charcoal.

After the food is done, you will need a way to serve it. Obviously paper plates are a great thing for the bbq crowd, but you might want to consider heavy duty plates if you are serving items that could get messy like burgers or kabobs.

Seating is another thing you will want to look into. You can’t just have your friends all sitting on the ground. Be sure to invest in nice patio dining sets that will add to the atmosphere of your party. You wouldn’t want to have sets that are uncomfortable or ugly, so it is crucial that your patio set looks and feels great.

With these things all set up and in order, your job as host or hostess will be much simpler. In fact, you will probably get to know your neighbors really well if you do too good of a job at hosting a backyard barbeque as they will never want to leave.

Although many people are ready to join the huge amount of online meat buyers to purchase their USDA Prime steaks or dry aged steak, there are still questions as to what grade of beef they are actually getting.  Are they really getting the best grade that they are paying for?  Is it worth buying a large amount of dry aged steak or sirloin in hopes of getting a better price?  Of course as with any purchase, you have to know what you are getting and what the best price is.  There has to be an understanding of exactly what USDA Prime steaks are, what they taste like and what constitutes that grade.

There are grades of beef on the market today including USDA Prime steaks.  Along with dry aged steak, whether a sirloin cut or not, USDA Prime steaks are quickly becoming the beef of choice as more and more shoppers decide that online purchasing of their meat is the best way to ensure quality and the best price.

The top three beef grades for steaks and other beef are: USDA Prime steaks, USDA Choice and USDA Select.  Incredibly, only 2% of all of the beef graded in the United States ranks in this small percentage which is USDA Prime steaks.  This is because there has to be a specific amount of fat marbling and tenderness in order to be classified as that grade.  You can only acquire this grade of steak through online suppliers and at high end steakhouses.

Right below USDA Prime steaks is USDA Choice which accounts for nearly 55% of beef that is marketed in the United States.  This is ranked second to USDA Prime steaks and unfortunately, there is a variety of marbling and tenderness percentages that are part of this grade of beef.   Within this grade there are three levels.  Everything else that has any marbling or tenderness at all is USDA Select.

This is just not the case with USDA Prime steaks.  They have to adhere to strict guidelines in order to become part of that very elite 2% of beef that are part of this category.  Knowing this, you can understand how important it is to know your grades of beef.  So when you decide it’s time for you to join the millions of online steak buyers, you must look for the words, USDA Prime, Choice or Select.
