I have some ‘grilling’ steak that I am planning to cook and I would just like some suggestions on the best way to tenderize it. All it says on the packet is ‘grilling steak’. Thanks a lot!
Thanks to everyone who answered. I appreciate it so much. There are so many good suggestions I couldn’t choose. In the end I pounded it and marinated it with Worcestershire sauce. Next time I will put tenderizer on it and freeze it. I love the soda idea but I dont like soda and I was worried it would leave a taste. Does it? Anyway, I decided to leave the voting up to everyone else becuase I really couldnt choose a best answer. Thanks again!

I am going to cook on a public grill but I don’t want to use the racks. I also don’t like to use aluminum foil. Does anyone know where I can find some grilling grates?
