It’s a hot summer day and you want to plan a party. What should you do? Really, there is only one thing that you can do. Throw a barbeque. But what should you serve, how should you serve it and what will you need for your guests? Find out in this article.

First of all, you should really plan farther ahead than just one day. Realistically, you should start by looking at the weather and making sure that it isn’t going to rain or snow or something. After that, invite the best, most fun-loving friends that you have. If you don’t have any friends, then this is the perfect way to make some.

After the invitations have been sent it is time to decide on things to eat. You can’t have a barbeque without some sort of food. I would recommend that you have a least a few different choices for people. Things like hot dogs and hamburgers are simple, cheap and effective. If you want to get a little fancier, there are always kabobs or possibly fondue that you could make. Whatever you choose, be sure that your grill is ready to go and that you have enough propane or charcoal.

After the food is done, you will need a way to serve it. Obviously paper plates are a great thing for the bbq crowd, but you might want to consider heavy duty plates if you are serving items that could get messy like burgers or kabobs.

Seating is another thing you will want to look into. You can’t just have your friends all sitting on the ground. Be sure to invest in nice patio dining sets that will add to the atmosphere of your party. You wouldn’t want to have sets that are uncomfortable or ugly, so it is crucial that your patio set looks and feels great.

With these things all set up and in order, your job as host or hostess will be much simpler. In fact, you will probably get to know your neighbors really well if you do too good of a job at hosting a backyard barbeque as they will never want to leave.

There is nothing that says you take your grilling seriously quite like a barbeque pit.

If you want to feed a small army with a heaping helping of barbeque then a barbeque pit is for you. Anyone can use one, from your grill crazy neighbor down the street to people who cook barbeque for a living. You can get one in any shape, size or price range; it just depends on your needs. There is nothing you can’t barbeque on them, except for perhaps a whole cow, but there is probably one out there that can handle that as well.

Not everyone understands what a barbeque pit is.

A charcoal filled pit slow cooking a pig all day is what most people envision. Now while that is still a barbequing method that works today, the modern barbeque pit, as most people from barbeque happy parts of the country know, is a modern marvel of grilling magic.

In the hands of a skilled griller a barbeque pit will produce mouth watering meals time after time. The barbeque pits on the market today are built well and can take thousand degree temperatures with ease.

You can keep your barbeque pit in tip top shape for many years if you follow these few tips.

  1. Before you fire up your barbeque pit for the first time it is a good idea to coat the inside with cooking oil. If you look you can find oil made just for barbeque pits.
  2. Once you have a nice coat of oil on the inside of your pit make a small fire in its center and let it heat the pit and the oil until it has burnt out.
  3. After about two hours your barbeque pit will be properly seasoned and you can start barbequing.

A Chicken Lollipops belong to the fare known as Indian Chinese. The taste is unmistakably Chinese, but the preparation and handling are very close to Indian cuisine. This dish can be found at all Indian Chinese restaurants worth their salt, and you can often judge the quality of the kitchen by this dish.

Ingredients

2 lbs Chicken Wings

1 tblsp garlic paste

1 tblsp ginger paste

6-8 green chilies

1 tblsp Soy sauce

1/2 tsp Vinegar

1 tsp Asian red chilly sauce

1/2 cup corn flour or corn starch

2 eggs

Red food color

Salt to taste

Oil to fry

Procedure

First you need to make lollipops out of the chicken wings available at the market. This is probably the toughest step, and takes a lot of time.

Cut each wing in half, along the movable bone joint. Of the two parts left, one part will have two parallel bones, and the other part will have a single bone. Remove the extra bone from one part of each wing. You will get two lollipops from each chicken wing.

Now, for each lollipop, cut the ligaments near one end of the bone so that the muscle separates from the bone. Roll this muscle over to the other end, without cutting the ligaments at that end. The muscle will thus remain hanging, and can be rolled over to form a lollipop.

Mix all the ingredients mentioned above to form a marinade. Note that since corn starch is present, you must take care not to let it form any lumps.

Marinate the chicken and leave for several hours.

When ready to serve, deep fry the lollipops and serve hot with chilly garlic sauce. Serve immediately with rice and vegetables. For more details http://www.indomunch.com
