Simple Syrup & Some Tasty Variations

Simple syrup is just that -- simple. Make up a bottle and put it in the refrigerator. It will keep (almost) forever (having not lived "forever", I can't be sure but I have had some last better than a two years.)

Simple syrup is basically just an easier way to add sweetness to a drink than by putting in sugar -- because in simple syrup the sugar is already dissolved. That's all it is. You may want to keep some on hand to use in ice tea, coffee and other everyday drinks like I do.
