Skycity's Ginger Lime Cosmopolitan

This version of the classic Cosmopolitan comes from the Skycity Restaurant at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle.

Skycity's Ginger Lime Cosmopolitan

• 2 tablespoons Sugar
• 1/4 cup Citrus-flavored Vodka
• 1 tablespoon fresh Lime Juice
• 1 teaspoon freshly grated peeled Ginger
• 1 Lime, quartered
• Lime slice for garnish
• Ice

1. Rim a martini glass with a lime wedge and dip into sugar.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker with 2 lime quarters, 1/2 tablespoon sugar, vodka, lime juice and ginger.
3. Mash with a muddler or end of a wooden spoon until the lime wedges are crushed.
4. Add ice and shake well.
5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
6. Add a lime slice to garnish.
