Porky'sThe sexual escapades of teenagers at a 1950s Florida high school. Rather tame by modern standards (American Pie) it caused an uproar when it was released. Which just made us want to see it even more. Porky's is a funny story, no doubt. But the "film" itself is funny. Here is a very funny, highly successful movie filled with young good looking actors -- and not a single star has come out of it. No one in film that played a major role has gone on to do anything remotely popular. (There is one actress who plays a bit role in the film you'll recognize and has gone on to a very successful career. I won't ruin it here, thought. Download the program.) This is the first and so far only film I have covered that made no stars. There's also very little information on the web about the film. I stuggled to get one page. It still is a VERY funny film and a good choice for a movie night. Especially if you first saw the film as a teen.
